![]() ![]() ![]() When the Word document is deleted/lost or corrupted/damaged on your Mac, you may see the wrong hint 'This document is either deleted or not currently accessible'. In the Font dialog, check the Hidden checkbox. Click the Format dropdown and choose Font from the menu. Name the new style, say, 'Answer', set the Style type to 'Character'. Show/Hide is a toggle, so a second click rehides all the hidden text when you're ready. ![]() Or click Show/Hide on the Standard toolbar - t's faster. Microsoft’s own instructions (use the office button and find Word Options) doesn’t work because there is no option from the Office Button called “Word Options”.
